"… passion and intensity, decades of study, deep theological reflection and serious polemical interaction, and even more, the heart of a believing theologian who knows he needs Christ and His Cross. If your prayer is ‘more love to Thee, O Christ,’ here is fuel for your devotion. Read and believe and worship." - Ligon Duncan, Chancellor and CEO, Reformed Theological Seminary
"I have been influenced by Dr. MacLeod’s writings for over forty years. No matter what the topic may be, one senses the precision of a pastor–theologian carefully analyzing his material to bring us to bow before a sovereign and gracious God, ‘lost in wonder, love and praise.’ Sure–footed, rich in biblical analysis, pastorally edifying, these ‘sound words’ provide a book to be read over and over." - Derek W. H. Thomas, Senior Minister of Preaching and Teaching, First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, South Carolina
