In 2020, Reformation Heritage Books commissioned numerous portraits of important figures in Church history from artist Marcos Rodrigues. The originals are now on display at the RHB Bookstore in Kentwood, MI.

We are now offering a number of these portraits as prints, ready to grace the walls of your living room, library, or study.

Each print is 5x7.128” on an 8x10” cardstock. They are displayed in clear plastic art bags, and each print comes with a quote, brief biography of the figure depicted, and the artist biography.

 

Subjects include:

Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Knox, Ulrich Zwingli, John Wycliffe, William Tyndale, Wilhelmus à Brakel, William Perkins, Matthew Henry, John Owen, Thomas Watson, John Bunyan, Thomas Goodwin, David Martyn Lloyd-Jones.

 

About the Artist:

Marcos Rodrigues is an illustrator and visual artist born May 26th, 1976, in Americana, São Paulo, Brazil.

He graduated with a degree in visual arts and expanded his artistic knowledge in the areas of drawing, painting, digital illustration, and art history.

Marcos currently works as an illustrator and arts teacher. He has worked on illustration projects both in his home country, Brazil, and internationally. He has held numerous exhibitions and was awarded for several of them.

He is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil where he is an elder. He studied Reformed Theology and continues to pursue his studies of the Scripture at Instituto Reformado de São Paulo.

In August 2021, he published his first book, Chiaroscuro, o outuno da alma, a collection of texts that originated from his diary, which contains 34 illustrations by the author.
