Dr. Beeke’s own 1845 copy of Watson’s A Body of Divinity
Thomas Watson’s sermons on the Westminster Shorter Catechism became A Body of Divinity, one of the most widely read Puritan books ever printed. Spurgeon reissued it with his own commendation. This 1845 copy comes from Dr. Joel Beeke’s personal library. The full Body of Divinity is included in RHB’s new Works of Thomas Watson, released this fall.
