This DVD was so interesting for my elder husband that he bought another one to share with the other elders! :)
I thought it was great too; it keeps your attention all the way through!

I wish all of my brothers and sisters in Christ would see this.
It is easy to get used to the way things are in the world, in the church, and in our own lives. To look at all of the sin, deadness, and coldness and to keep moving through life content and asleep and hopeless.
To hear sermon after sermon on Sundays not thinking much about how God in one message could awaken His people and start a great awakening in that moment. And so you don’t pray and you say that God probably won’t do that.
Sometimes you wonder, does it really matter if I pray for a Work of God in my own life, in the church or in the world? Will He really answer my prayer? Will He really do it?
It was impactful for me to see that God not only hears our prayers for revival, but He can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ever ask or think. And he is willing! We can just look at the past to see how faithful He is to hear and answer!
We can joyfully keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. It was so awesome to see how God can rise up and scatter His enemies in our lives and in the world.
It was great to see that not only does the darkness go away, but it is replaced with people falling more in love with Jesus, and knowing and enjoying more of Him.
Highly recommend this movie!

A very understandable treatment of this subject. Should be read both sides of this question.

To read of the great revivals in Church history is a really wonderful thing, but to see the places where they took place adds so much. Helps to put you "on the scene"!

I began to watch it; and before I was done, I immediately ordered another for a friend. This presentation moves me to pray more devotedly for revival in our time.

This documentary was a huge blessing! In this time where revival is being talked about daily, it was a biblical description of what revival really is, and how a believer should think about it. I especially enjoyed Jeremy Walker's commentary for its world-wide discussion throughout history. It was also wonderful to hear from dear saints like Iain Murray. Jared Kraft is my son-in-law, so I know that I have a natural bias, but his musical score was beautiful and helpful to the content of the documentary. Also the photography was excellent. I enjoyed seeing the places, especially Wales which I have never seen in person, where these events took place. Well done! I am highly recommending it.
