A Memoir of the Rev. John H. Rice, D.D.

In A Memoir of Rev. John H. Rice is recorded the life of a Gospel minister from the early days of the Republic, who was born and buried in Virginia. There is wonderment at the fact that once again the 1835 biography of this godly man has been produced. The Memoir has a great deal of first-hand information in the form of Rice’s letters.

The reader of A Memoir will realize that here was a man who in spite of difficulties sought to be faithful to the Lord and His inspired word.
