Octavius Winslow is amazing

I don't know why I've never heard of Octavius Winslow before, or why he isn't more well-known. I have never read anyone's writings before that so powerfully bring you right to the feet of Jesus Christ. It's almost staggering. I bought a book by Winslow on Christ seen in the history of Joseph simply because I love typology, and it was on clearance for $5.00. Within two pages I declared that it was the best book I have ever read, and now, halfway through, I feel the same, and I had to collect more of his works; hence purchasing these books. The book on Christ in the history of Joseph is so wonderful, that I had to give up highlighting because it would have been the entire book. I can only read a couple of pages at a time, because the truths revealed about our precious saviour are so wonderful, that I need time to absorb them, and think on them, and worship God. All I can say is, if you love Jesus, read Winslow! Your walk will be expanded and deepened through his writings. Truly this is a man that walked with God.
