Psalm 119 is a feast on and in the Word of God. It is the longest Psalm and the most prolonged, powerful expression of delight and joy in the Word. It is a Psalm of worship and praise and thanksgiving for the Word.

This little book is not a thorough commentary on Psalm 119, but rather a devotional commentary. The chapters are intentionally kept short, so that applications could be included at the end of each. These are meditations and thus this little book could serve as a weekday devotional, or for personal or family devotions. It could also be used in small groups or Sunday School classes, with the applications being discussions starters.

Endorsements

"True Godliness in a wicked world springs from a life inundated with the Word, a lesson we learn from Psalm 119. Given that this psalm is the size of a New Testament epistle, it is well worth careful study, sustained meditation, and practical application. Pastor Brian Borgman helps us do just that in this sweet devotional book on a richly experiential psalm that serves in Calvin's words, as 'an anatomy of all parts of the soul.'"
