Like the apostle Paul, it was the remembrance of his past sins that brought Bunyan to appreciate the great grace that God has shown towards him. Written for the benefit of his ‘spiritual children’, Bunyan’s intention was that ‘others may be put in remembrance of what he hath done for their souls, by reading his work upon me.’

God has worked through John Bunyan in a special way. The Pilgrims Progress alone has been beloved by Christians throughout the past three-centuries and shall surely proceed into myriads of generations to come. In "Grace Abounding" we see the man behind "The Pilgrims Progress." The man who, like Christian, struggled under the weight of his sin before Christ opened his once blind-eyes and his once deaf-ears and said "Come, my grace is sufficent. Leave your self-righteousness. Come, recieve my perfect righteousness. For I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father except by me." I highly suggest this book; it is worth your time!!!
