These books make the joy of the Puritans so accessible.
I am so grateful for the work that has gone into the creation of such rich books.

A lovely gift from a faithful people. I began with George Swinnock's "The Fading of the Flesh and the Flourishing of Faith". This is indeed a treasure of Spirit filled teaching and advise for young and old in their walk of faith and sanctification in that walk. I can hardly wait to start the next of these "Puritan Treasures".

I have received my books, all in good order. Thank you. So far i have only begun to read one book and I intend to share my new books with others. Thank you for the easily handled physical soft cover format and the only drawback for me is that I live so far away from RHB I have to pay US$40 postage. My cost was great but the books in the format and the translation as offered are great. They are easier to understand than the original and the prefaces and introductions help people today to get access to wonderful teaching. Thank you so much!

This was a great purchase and a great deal. I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far and the packaging and shipping was fantastic.

I saw Dr. Beeke recommend these in a YouTube interview with Joel Webbon. Dr. Beeke remarked how almost everyone who started reading the Puritans talked of how godliness started to grow in them. I decided to order and I have been very pleased with them thus far. I have often struggled with assurance or whether or not I have truly repented unto salvation. These books offer great exhortation AND HOPE for someone who often feels downcast and hopeless. The Puritans say with one voice, "FLY TO CHRIST! WHOSEVER WILL, DRINK THE WATER FREELY!" Christ is our only hope. Turn to Him today. Thanks for the recommendation!

The upgrading of your Puritan books into modern English is the best decision RHB has made to date. It has made timeless classics on vital subjects relevant and appreciated by the modern reader. Most Christians, including Reformed believers, don't read the Puritans because they can't get past the language barrier. It takes work and effort to read the Puritans in the old writing style. Especially when you consider that most media today is visually oriented, in order to have an even playing field, you have to make the text comprehensible and remove the roadblocks to that goal.

Bought these for church library. These titles have stood the test of time. Wish they were bound more suitably for the rigors of long term use. They would be well worth the additional cost.
