Gale, Stanley D.
Description
The Christian's hope is not an expression of wishful thinking like, "I hope it doesn't rain." Nor is it unfounded yearning for what might be. Rather, the hope of the Christian is a confident expectation, an assured conviction, a vibrant certainty that rests on the God who cannot lie and who does not change. In his first epistle, Peter tells us we are born again to a living hope and have the charge of giving a defense for that hope. In this devotional, Stan Gale leads us through the epistle of 1 Peter to explore the depths of our hope in Christ and the impact of that hope on our daily lives.
