He imagines the criminal looking back on that last day from the perspective of the eternal security of heaven. He speaks as an eyewitness of the sufferings of Jesus; one who heard His words spoken from the cross. What unfolds is a story of amazing grace. Here was a man with nothing to commend him; with no time to turn over a new leaf; with no record of a new start. He simply turned to the Lord Jesus and asked for mercy. What a demonstration of the truth that whoever comes to Jesus will never be driven away!

Heaven, how I got here

This little book was a great encouragement. I tend to be skeptical about fictional books, but a dear brother said he read it and recommended it. Reading through this book I was made more thoughtful of the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus and the importance of sharing His Gospel with those I come in contact with. The thief laid a hold of Christ in the final houres of his life and doesn't have to be that way for everyone. I would recommend buying more than one because once you read it you will want everyone you know to read it as well.
