An excellent overview of the themes in Job
The Book of Job is simultaneously one of the most powerful and the most dangerous sections of the Bible. If someone doesn’t have guidance to rightly view Job’s friends and his own limited theology, they may be led astray before they realize how strong God’s reaction was. But the truthful message God presents is so important we dare not ignore Job because of the risk. This booklet provides us with a simple solution for introducing this book to someone. They can be guided by it in right directions while neither overwhelming them nor doing all the work of unpacking it for them.
I expect to use this as counseling homework on a regular basis.
