On a large print, thought the words would be larger. There is very liuttle difference between large print and regular print, as I already have that bible in regular print.
Print not that large
This is a licensed edition of the Reformation Heritage KJV Study Bible.
The Black Hardcover Large Print King James Version Study Bible will let you experience the KJV Bible in a fresh new way through an updated KJV Bible that still features the beautiful original language, but now it also offers thousands of study notes to make its meaning more accessible. In addition to the large print, this Bible also features a strong emphasis on personal and family devotions.
The front cover of the black hardcover Bible is heat-debossed with a framed argyle-styled pattern with small quatrefoil designs within each diamond. The black cover is covered with a printed book jacket that features the same argyle design printed in gold against a creamy white background. On the book jacket, the title is placed within an elaborate filigree frame. The title and KJV version reference appear on the spine on both the book cover and the book jacket, where it is gold foiled and accented by gold foiled bands.
The hardcover Study Bible features several wonderful features that will make your personal or family Bible study a joy: the pages are printed in black ink and accented with metallic gold decorative accents; two satin ribbon markers are included to mark multiple pages, and text is presented in 9.8-point type and organized in a double-column format. A lay-flat binding ensures the spine is not damaged when opened.
The Bible also acts as a record keeper. It includes a presentation page that can be personalized, a wedding certificate, and a family record that provides for marriages, births and adoptions, and deaths. An additional record-keeping page is dedicated to occasions to remember.
An entire section is dedicated to the history of the KJV, focusing on its tradition, text, and translation.
Study features include an introduction to every book of the Bible and personal or family devotions at the end of every chapter, thousands of explanatory study notes on the text and the archaic language, essays on 50 key teachings of the Bible, a concordance, and 8 full-color maps. There is also a section dedicated to living the Christian life that covers 37 essays. A further interesting feature is the brief synopsis of twenty centuries of church history followed by a section on creeds, catechisms, and confessions. This section includes the Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, Belgic Confessions, Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort, Westminster Confessions, Westminster Superior Cathechism, and the Westminster Larger Catechism.
Filled with unique and usable features and presented in large print, the Black Hardcover Large Print King James Version Study Bible will be a much-appreciated addition to any serious Bible student's library.
